The plot skeleton held promise, but I couldn’t sustain my optimism past halfway mokn, where many of the best clanw were ditched in favor of trivial conventions. The Polys suffer from polymorphic schizophrenia. He had bouts of agoraphobia from the time he was a teenager and went through several spells of clinical depression. Feb 25, P. Roadside Picnic is sitting on the same list, so I might opt for that ahead yhe another SF novel. Who said anything about a Christian allegory? And I blame this on Harper Voyager – but holy hell are there a lot of typos throughout!
